Newsflash!

Mark doesn't want me talking about this for fear that I might jinx it (how on earth can such a logical man be so incredibly superstitious?), but I've decided I need to celebrate the good things that have happened no matter if they're whisked away from me tomorrow.

So please, take a moment and celebrate with me....

Hoppy Easter 2012

The Easter Bunny hopped into the cottage last night and silently snuck little eggs of chocolatey goodness all around for the children to find.  Fast-forward a few hours and behold the excited trio, eagerly awaiting the cry of "Happy Hunting!" from the Easter Bunny wrangler.

It was hard work because the Bunny was particularly crafty this year...

 Fond of chocolate, Yoda is.

How did this poor guy get trapped in here?

Gran will keep your chocolates safe!

This eggy had better be found before the coffee gets made.

 so! much! fun!

  Daffodil break....

Okay, back to hunting

Oooooh, particularly tricky Bunny - stuck an egg outside in the bird feeder! [Can we just take a moment to look at the gorgeous lake in the background?  The ice just went out two days ago, so its not quite swimming-ready yet]

Reeeeeaching, ah, got it.  Elly did pretty well (with some coaching from Gran and Grandpa), especially once she figured out that she should keep the eggs in her basket rather than hiding them all over again)

Hoppy Easter everyone.  Hop you're having a bunderful day and that you carrot complain about anything. :)
